While the interior ambiance and recent updates are positively received, limited seating and parking challenges during peak hours are frequent points of feedback. Overall, El Atlakat stands out as a reliable spot for flavorful, hearty meals in a cozy setting.
La mejor comida Salvadoreña en Miami! Whenever I am in the mood for pupusas and a hearty steak, my wife and I hit up El Atlakat. Their pupusas with chicharron y queso are the best to start the meal. I always go with the tipico guanaco meal, which is a feast. It comes with steak (topped with an egg and salsa), rice, beans, cheese, avocado and tortilla. Their carne asada is also delicious and my wife’s favorite. The waitresses are so friendly and know my order whenever I walk in. Always a pleasure coming here!
The steak is amazing. I usually eat it however it is cooked and hasn't failed me yet. Their "fried" beans are delicious as well. Wendy is our favorite waitress and always delivers quickly with a smile. Even if you forget your order she already knows what you are in for. During lunch hours parking is severely limited. So beware. Many people don't know how to park correctly.
From the outside the restaurant doesn't look too inviting; however the interior and the food make up for it. Be aware that there aren't that many seats available. The portions are good for the price. I recommend the carne asada and the pupusas
I loved the orange and carrot juice. Pupusas big and delicious. Shrimp cocktail and mondongo.
I love this family own restaurant. The pay attention to every detail and always try to get better. The food is always so good ! An ingredient quality you can feel it. Recently they put beautiful new blue chairs and the fresh look is amazing. Thank you so much for been always open. I been a customer for many years and always come back
The food is excellent here, the carne asada is the best, if you are in Little havanna, you have to go here, it's a small place but worth the wait. The beef soup is excellent.
